City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Committee on Commerce & Economic Development of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items: 250646 An Ordinance amending Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Regulation of Businesses, Trades and Profession,” by adding a new chapter entitled “Minimum Training For Security Officers. ” 250654 An Ordinance amending Chapter 17-1600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Economic Opportunity Plans,” to add two additional business community members to the Economic Opportunity Review Committee, all under certain terms and conditions.
Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Commerce & Economic Development, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
