Yes. I think we have to stay after school for this. At this point in time, the Chair recognizes Councilwoman Tasco for a motion to adjourn.
I would like to speak on the part of the Majority first. I just have an announcement to make.
I'm sorry. The Chair recognizes Councilwoman Tasco.
There has been an effort to try to figure out a way how to deal with PGW, and State Representative Dwight Evans engaged the former PUC Chairman, Joe Rhoads, to conduct an investigation on the best possible way to deal with PGW. There will be a meeting tomorrow from 1:00 to 2:30 at the State Office Building, Hearing Room No. 2 to discuss some of the alternatives, including the issue of a merger with PGW and/or any other utility. That might be helpful to members of City Council. It is an information meeting, which will present the pros and cons of some of the discussions that we've had today, and we invite the Councilmembers, if they are available, to attend.
I'm very happy that you mentioned that, because I think I received a letter -
-this morning, and with all of the confusion about these applications, I neglected to really make it be known, but I think it would be very interesting for all of us to be there.
I think the discussion is appropriate at this time. There's a lot of information. There's not a simple answer to it.
Right. Are there any other speeches on the part of the Majority? (No response.)
