Resolution No. 990437, a resolution 20 appointing John Connors to the Board of Directors of the Center City District of Philadelphia. Council President, we have five resolutions here: Three individuals are existing members for whom we're seeking their reappointment; we have two new appointments, and one is John Connors, who is here, and the second is Christine Madigan from Metropolitan Life, who could not be here but has submitted a letter to you in terms of her willingness and interest to 5 6/10/99 WHOLE COMM. - Public Hearing serve.
And Metropolitan has had a seat on the board; she's replacing the prior person.

Good morning, Council President and Members of Council. My name is John Connors, and I'm the managing partner of Brickstone Realty here in Philadelphia. I've appeared before Council many times related to our work, which right now consists of the conversion of City Hall Annex into a 500-room courtyard by Marriott Hotel. But over the past 15 years, it has included the Wanamaker building, the old Litt Brothers Department Store, and 1234 Market Street. I'm very pleased to have been asked to join the Board of the Center City District and hope that for the next 15 years, we can do as much work as we have in the past. 6 6/10/99 WHOLE COMM. - Public Meeting
