The own s request to alter the interior of this building and to const t a sun deck at the rear was reviewed and recommended for approv_ by the Committee. Rittenhouse Village, Thalheimer & Weitz, Architects. The Committee questioned the need for downspouts on the Rittenhouse House and also the lack of wood stairs and a platform leading to the existing door on the rear of the building. The Committee agreed that downspouts were not necessary, and that, even though the additional door to the building would not be used, stairs leading to it were needed. Copies of contract documents, when completed, should be submitted to the Committee for further review. Sweetbriar Mansion, Herbert Levy, Architect. Approved. Working drawings are required. Lemon Hill Mansion, Robert Riley, Architect. The Committee questioned the existence of three different types of rails on the house and asked for documentation on this. Working drawings will need to be submitted for a final review. Arnest Mansion, Hayes and Hough, Architects. Approved. Copies of final drawings are required. Laurel Hill Mansion (Randolph House), Abbott W. Thompson, Associates. The Committee questioned the design of the rear wooden porch end asked that the architect submit his evidence for the existence of the porch and for its design. Working drawings are required. The Committee, however, did question the existing scoring on the front facade of this building and asked that the architect submit a detail of the stucco work to be done on the building. It was not clear whether the building was to be restuccoed or whether the brick would be restored.
