With me today are Councilman Rizzo, Councilman Cohen, Councilman Mariano, and I am Councilman DiCicco. I'm the Chairperson of the Streets and Services Committee. There are a significant number of bills today -- I think we have about 52 bills to be heard today. What I would like to do is, and I think it's already set out that way. There are -- the majority of the bills deal with parking regulations. And we will do those bills. I think -- just give me a minute now, I think we're going to do those first. Frank Russo. Frank Russo. The question I have is: There is a city-owned lot between Fitzwater and Clymer Street, and the parking along Seventh Street, you're trying to amend that between those two 20 STREETS & SERVICES COMMITTEE - Public Hearing blocks?
We're trying to put a regulation in based on calls and a petition. I believe there was a petition that was circulated in the community where the residents and the business people have requested that a parking regulation be implemented along Seventh Street, from Fitzwater to Catherine.
Between Fitzwater and Clymer, are they trying to change the hours? Is that correct?
I think, if I'm not mistaken, that the signage today is 8 a.m. to 12 midnight. And that was done in error, I believe. What we're doing now is amending the legislation that I originally introduced which called for two-hour parking on Seventh Street, both sides, from Fitzwater to Catherine, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., except Sunday. And what I'm doing now is offering an 21 STREETS & SERVICES COMMITTEE - Public Hearing amendment to the two-hour parking from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., except for Sunday.
Okay. Is there an hour-limit on that parking lot? It's a city-owned lot, is there a --
I'm not -- I'm not familiar with -- I know the lot but I'm not familiar with any time -- with any regulations regarding time there. I don't know.
I don't think there is. Generally, in a public parking lot -- and correct me, Cass, in case I'm wrong -- there is no time limitation.
