I would ask you, based on that testimony and example, then, to get the recent accident history of that same intersection for the past two years.
I have one question. You and I did a walking tour in the Chinatown community several months ago cross from the Hing Wy Yoo (ph.) Housing Development is the school yard, the Holy Redeemer Church. Ridge Avenue comes off of Callowhill and then goes back onto Vine and then there's a cross street in there, the name escapes me.
Wood. There was a 142 STREETS & SERVICES COMMITTEE - Public Hearing stop sign installed there but it wasn't installed by the Streets Department for about two months, and then it came down. During that two-month period of time, do you know if any accidents took place?
I do know, sir, that we did post that intersection with a "Pedestrian Crossing" sign, and I cannot say it's been marked, but we have issued a work order to mark Ninth Street, which is the uncontrolled street, with a crosswalk.
But you know of no 16 accidents that occurred during the time that the signage was posted, not by the Streets Department but by some concerned neighbor?
