COUNCILMAN DiCICCO: Earlier you and I had a sidebar with relationship to this bill about the striking and the value of the partial or piece of land or the sidewalk area as it relates to the applicant's request. Councilman and members of the Committee, my name is Frank Morelli. I met with the Law Department yesterday to review this and a copy of the appraisal. The Law Department said that we're required to go with the appraised value of the property. They're willing to look -- if another appraisal is done, we're willing to take a look at that, and if it came back lower, that would be acceptable to the Streets Department and the Law Department. The usual process is that the appraisal is done after the bill has been signed. That's one of the final steps before the confirmation of the plan, so there's time for another appraisal to be done later on after the bill has been passed. COUNCILMAN DiCICCO: Very good. Thank you.
