Good afternoon, Madam Chair and Members of Council. My name is Vivian Miller. You have my budget before you and in the interest of time I would like to just summarize it for you.

It is with a sense of excitement and hope for a bright and progressive future for our City that I appear before this distinguished body requesting your approval of my Fiscal Year 2001 budget in the amount of $4,313,424. Once again, our budget does not meet the desired goals and visions for the Clerk of Quarter Sessions. However, I anticipate working with the new Administration in moving our department into the 21st century. Also, let me conclude by extending my best wishes to each of you for a rewarding and successful future as a member of this elite body.
