Are there speeches on the part of the majority? The Chair recognizes Councilwoman Brown.
Thank you, Madam President. Very briefly, with regards to the School District and the 10 of City Council supported last week, I simply wanted to go on the record that we will watch closely on how this 10 million is spent, and we're hopeful that the School Reform Commission will see fit to send these dollars to the areas that continue to come up around lack of dollars for the School District; namely, our children need small class sizes, there's still a need for music and art and safe schools. And so I'll be looking to the Education Committee to hold hearings on how those dollars are being spent, because they remain a great cost to the City. Thank you, Madam President.
You're welcome. Are there any other speeches on the part of the majority? (No response.)
Seeing no one, I would first like to wish my colleagues a pleasant summer. Blackwell for a motion to adjourn.
